033: How to Create a Crisis Toolkit for Grief & Depression with BECKY MOLLENKAMP

Becky Mollenkamp is with us today with a really powerful story and set of tools for us. Becky runs a business doing content creation for other small businesses and today she shares with us what it was like to lose a younger sibling to bi-polar disorder and a subsequent heroin overdose. Understandably, this life event ravaged her life and her business. But as you'll learn later on in her story, that experience prepared her for the other inevitable moments of bravery, like going through a miscarriage.

Without giving away all the good stuff, I'll just tell you that she and I ended up going through a must-have list of things you should definitely do, when you or your business is in crisis. For whatever reasons, big or small.

Oh! and there's a killer download worksheet I've included with this episode, which will help you begin to make your own crisis toolkit. That worksheet is available in the shownotes for this episode.

I'm really happy to have Becky Mollenkamp with us today. I think you'll appreciate her vulnerability as much as I do.

Brave Take-Aways

Okay, so as I mentioned before, your Brave Take-Away from today's show is a really sweet worksheet which will help to give you starting point for creating your own "Bare Minimum To-do List." I know it seems kind of strange to need help making a list of things you *shouldn't* do, but believe me. As a business owner who sometimes needs to take those "Fudge It" days, it's really helpful. And there is a bit of an art that goes into deciding which tasks are necessary to keeping your business running smoothly and which ones are not.
